The Botanical Name of Curry Leaves is Murraya Rutaceae. The curry leaf tree is known to belong to the genus Murraya and family Rutaceae. The leaves are generally used in curries, hence the name “curry leaves”.

The tree is native to the Indian subcontinent and is primarily cultivated for culinary purposes. The growth of the tres is known to be good where there is a full or partial shade of the sun falling. If we talk about the size of the tree, then it is rather small, growing between 4 to 6 meters in height. The tree produces white flowers that can pollinate itself, producing drupes with a large, single seed.
