The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a national-level, All-India Pre-medical Entrance Exam for students who want to pursue undergraduate medical courses like MBBS, BDS, and other equivalent AYUSH courses.
The candidates appearing for the NEET entrance exam this year would be offered admissions to 90,825 MBBS, 27,948 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 603 BVSc, and AH seats, which include 1,899 AIIMS and 249 JIPMER seats across India.
Only the qualifying candidates who clear the exam will be eligible to secure admission to any of these medical courses in various private and government institutions across the country based on their NEET 2023 scores.
NEET 2023 exam will be conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) as per the syllabus prescribed by MCI (Medical Council of India), which is known as NMC (National Medical Council). NEET 2023 Topic-wise Syllabus
The syllabus prescribed by MCI for the NEET 2023 exam comprises Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology) for Classes 11 & 12.
It is expected that the NEET syllabus 2023 will have no changes compared to the previous year’s syllabus. It covers all the fundamental & advanced topics from Classes 11 & 12, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, including 97 chapters.
The National Testing Agency or NTA is responsible for announcing the exam syllabus on the official NEET website and the notification.
