Parakram Diwas, also known as Bravery Day, is a designated National Day in India, observed on January 23rd. The Government of India introduced this day in 2021 to mark the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

History of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose

Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was born on January 23, 1897, in Cuttack, Odisha. After earning a degree in Philosophy from Calcutta, he was sent to England to prepare for the Civil Services exams.
