The water cycle is also known as the Hydrological or Hydrologic cycle. It refers to the movement of all water bodies on, below and above the Earth. These movements include ice glaciers, oceans, sea bodies and lakes.
The water cycle defines the movement of water from one place to another such as ocean water moving into the clouds through evaporation, river water moving to oceans, etc. It also shows the different state's water turns to during these processes.
