1. What did you learn from the chapter “Who I Am”?
The chapter is about the lives of six children who are unique and different in their personality. We learnt from this chapter that there are various kinds of people in this world who are different from each other in every aspect. Everyone has a different lifestyle with their own likes and dislikes. We all have certain qualities in each of us which should not be compared. At last, everyone is happy with the way they are.
2. What is Rohit's wish?
Rohit’s wish is to have a lot of money as he wants to travel to different places. He wants to travel to many places like the mountains of New Zealand, Konark temple in Orissa, pyramids of Egypt and the old city in Beijing in China. His wishlist doesn't stop here. He wishes to raft on amazon river, live on beaches of Lakshadweep and dive down to see coral. More than all these buildings, he always wanted to stay close to nature.
3. What kind of changes does Dolma want to bring in society?
Dolma’s wish is to become Prime Minister of India. She wants to serve the people by improving their conditions. She wants to bring changes in the society by arranging good hospitals, roads and schools. She wants scientists in India to be encouraged to make new inventions and find a cure for many diseases. She can become a good leader because she helps her classmates when they have a problem and her teacher trusts her always when something needs to be done in school.
4. Whose family is the happy family and why?
It is very evident that Peter’s family is happy because they go to see a movie on the second Sunday of every month. Peter’s dad books the tickets in advance and takes his family to the cinema hall on a bus. This is Peter’s favourite day as he loves to sit in the dark in the hall eating and watching a movie. Later, they stop to eat his favourite ice cream. Also, all his family members feel that they are lucky as they have such a happy family.
5. Who is Radha?
Radha is a young girl who loves to climb trees but her mother disappoints her every time. Her mother tells her not to climb trees as it is not sensible for girls. Her favourite tree is the mango tree outside her house as it is easy for her to climb as the branches are widely spread. She loves to sit on those branches and feels like she is ruling the whole world.
