Here are some ways by which improvement in water can control sanitation and diseases in the following ways—

i. Regular inspections of rooftops, water coolers, and other similar areas for driving out the stagnant water. These inspections will prevent the breeding of mosquitoes and save many lives.

ii. The quality of the water supplied should also be checked by the government.

iii. Waste disposal in water sources needs to be banned legally.

iv. Monitoring of sewage treatment needs to be done.

v. Awareness needs to be spread among people regarding the negative effects of contaminated water.

Ans: Health services refers to facilities like treatment, diagnosis, surgeries, etc. that help citizens to maintain and improve their health.

There are two types of healthcare services – private and public. Both have their own pros and cons. There are numerous discussions, debates, lectures, and opinions regarding the differences between the private health services run by the common man and public health services that are run by the government. 

The various faults of these health services are as follows—

i. It is undoubtedly true that better health service is available in private health care but in the case of public health services, they are often not up to the mark and problems like shortage of doctors are common.
