  • A mix of easy, moderate, and a few tricky questions, but the paper was lengthy

  • Concepts tested included Mechanics, Electrostatics, Magnetism, Optics, and Modern Physics.

  • More weightage was given to modern physics

  • 2 questions were asked about earth’s magnetism which were from the deleted portion

  • No questions were asked from Logic gates

  • Questions required a good understanding of fundamental concepts and analytical skills.


JEE Mains 30 Jan Shift 1 Maths Question Paper Analysis:

  • Considered the most challenging section but moderately easy, with a mix of direct and application-oriented questions.

  • Calculus, Coordinate Geometry, Algebra, and Vector Algebra were prominent topics.

  • 2 to 3 questions from sequence and series, vector 3D, intigrations  were asked

  • 3 to 4 short problems were asked from Vector 3D

  • more weightage was given to Calculus

  • Chemistry was considered to be the easiest section.

  • Mostly NCERT-based questions with some application-oriented ones.

  • Physical Chemistry dominated with a few questions from Inorganic and Organic Chemistry.

  • Organic Chemistry was much easier than the other two as it had direct questions asked

  • Numerical problems were more from Physical Chemistry.

  • 1 question from Biomolecules, 4 direct questions from salt analysis

  • Questions were direct and factual, emphasizing concept clarity over complex calculations.

  • The JEE Main 2024 question paper will be available in 13 regional languages, including English and Hindi.

  • The exam will be conducted in two shifts: morning and afternoon.
