There are undoubtedly a lot of theories regarding how the world can "end." Since everything has an end, I do think that the world will end at some point. This also applies to the rest of the world, if the Sun were to explode due to extreme heat, the entire planet would instantly end because no region of the planet could withstand such intense heat.
