He went to a nearby river. First, Appu drank water until he was satisfied. He then bathed in the river water to cool himself. After playing in the water, Appu carried some river water in his trunk and poured on the banana plants as if it was raining. The banana plants became alive as soon as they got water. Appu was very happy to see the plants being alive and decided to water them every day.
