According to the recent notification released by the CBSE, the board exams for Classes 10th & 12th will begin on February 15, 2022. The complete schedule for the classes 10th and 12th will be released by December 2022. CBSE is returning to the conventional practice of conducting the board exams once a year as the COVID situation is getting normalised across the nation.
In 2021-22, the board conducted the exams in two phases - Term 1 & Term 2. Term 1 was conducted between November and December 2021, while Term 2 was conducted between April and May 2022.
To check the complete subject-wise date sheet, students of Classes 10th & 12th have to wait till November 2022. The details will be released on the official website of the board (cbse.gov.in).
The official statement read, “In the Light of lessening of the impact of COVID Pandemic across the globe, the board has decided to conduct 2023 exams from February 15, 2023.”
In addition, CBSE also confirmed the result stats for Board exams 2022. The success rate of CBSE Class 10 stands at 94.4 per cent, while Class 12 has 93 per cent as the pass rate for this year. Students are advised to keep checking the official website of CBSE to get further updates on the schedule and download CBSE sample papers to practice for the final exams accordingly.
