The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened a short window for schools to correct mistakes in student data for the upcoming 2024 board exams! This crucial chance to fix typos and discrepancies ends on 8th January.
This isn't about changing subjects or exam centres. Schools can fix minor errors in:
Candidate's Name: Misspellings, middle names missing, etc.
Parent/Guardian Names: Typos, initials instead of full names, etc.
Date of Birth: Small inaccuracies that don't affect the age category.
Deadline: No changes will be accepted after 8th January, so act fast!
Correction Fees: Each correction costs Rs. 1000, payable by the school.
No Major Changes: Complete name changes, subject selections, etc., cannot be modified.
Login Credentials: Schools need the student's username and password to access the correction portal.
Step 1: Visit the CBSE website: https://www.cbse.gov.in/
Step 2: Click "Pariksha Sangram" > "Head Office" > "Centralised LOC Correction."
Step 3: Log in using the student's credentials.
Step 4: Make the necessary corrections and submit.
