According to the circular ACAD-57/2022, CBSE aims to ask at least 30% competency-based questions in the board exams for the session 2022-23. In order to achieve this target, CBSE has introduced real-life examples for each topic in the syllabus of Class 10 & 9. This is mainly done to make the shift towards competency-based learning from mugging.
The circular released by CBSE made it clear that real-life questions will be a part of this year’s question paper. By introducing such examples, students will be able to connect better with the topics. This is for the first time such real-life examples are introduced in collaboration with Educart to support the 30% competency-based pattern for Class 10 & 9 students.
According to experts, the whole initiative is unique and the efforts made by Educart are commendable. CBSE has always tried to focus on the fundamentals of a particular topic and this new pattern of explaining a particular topic will further boost the motive in an effective manner.
