The Central State Board of Secondary Education officially notified that it will conduct the Term 2 2021-22 Board Examination for Classes 10 and 12 in offline mode. The exams will commence on 26 April 2022. The notification issued by the Board also stated that the date sheet for CBSE Class 10th and 12th second-term examinations will be soon available on the official website of the Board, i.e. cbse.gov.in.
The CBSE Examination Controller, Sanyam Bhardwaj, said, “The Board after discussion with various stakeholders and taking into consideration the COVID-19 situation in the country has decided to conduct second-term board exams in offline mode only. The theory exams will begin on April 26, 2022. The date sheet for classes 10 and 12 will be released soon.”
CBSE also informed the students that the pattern of the question papers for the second term will be the same as that of sample question papers provided on the Board's official website. It also added that the candidates will appear in the examinations from the allotted examination centres, as per the procedure followed in the previous years.
The Board has also advised the students to believe the messages and information spreading on social media only after verifying the facts from its official website.
CBSE Term 1 examination for Classes 10 and 12 have already been conducted in offline mode in November and December of 2021, the result of which is yet to be announced.
Last year in July, CBSE announced to conduct the Board exams for Classes 10 and 12 in two terms for the 2021-22 session, keeping in view the pandemic situation.
