In a recent update, the National Testing Agency has confirmed that the students need to score at least 75% marks in Class 12 to take admissions to IIITs, NITs and GFTIs. However, the eligibility criteria for appearing in JEE Main 2023 kept unchanged.
The students from SC and ST categories must score at least 65% in Class 12 to qualify for JEE Main 2023. This criterion was not followed in the last few years due to the pandemic, but as things are getting back to normal, the administrating body has restored minimum passing marks criteria. Admissions will be done through JoSAA and CSAB counselling.
