The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the NEET UG 2024 Application Window today. Candidates who have not yet completed their applications can do so by visiting the official website, neet.ntaonline.in.
Previously, the NTA had extended the registration deadline from March 9 to 16. According to an official notice by the NTA, they received several requests from candidates to reopen the Application window for NEET UG 2024 due to various unavoidable reasons.
Students now have until April 10 to complete the NEET 2024 online application process.
According to information from the NTA, a total of 23,81,833 students have signed up for NEET UG 2024 this time around. Among them, there are over 10 lakh male students, over 13 lakh female students, and 24 students who have registered under the 'third gender' category.
Step 1: Go to the official website, neet.ntaonline.in.
Step 2: If you're a new applicant, use the 'new registration' link, or log in using the provided link.
Step 3: Click on 'new registration' and complete the required fields, including your name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, and email address.
Step 4: After registration, log in using your application number and password.
Step 5: Fill out the application form.
Step 6: Save your progress, submit the form, and make the required payment.
Step 7: Download a copy of the completed application form for future reference.
A candidate has the choice to log in and verify their identity when submitting the online registration form by selecting from the following options:
Aadhaar card
Digi locker
ABC ID
Passport
Pan Card
School/ Any other valid Govt. Identity Card with a photograph
Applicants must pay a fee to apply. For Indian candidates in the General Category, it's Rs 1,700. There are discounts for others: Rs 1,600 for General-EWS/OBC-NCL and Rs 1,000 for SC/ST/PwBD/third gender.
NEET UG 2024 is set to take place on May 5 from 2 to 5 pm in approximately 571 cities across India and 14 cities outside India, with the exam being conducted in pen and paper (offline) mode.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) stated that this is a one-time opportunity for NEET UG 2024 Application. They won't get another chance to apply for NEET UG 2024. Applicants should keep this in mind when filling out the NEET UG 2024 online Application Form.
