In the recent QS Asia Universities Ranking 2023, IIT Bombay has topped the list from India with 40th rank this year. This year, a total of 19 universities featured among the top 200 universities in the QS Asia Universities Ranking 2023 list. This is the highest number of Indian universities featuring in the QS Asia Universities Rankings list.
The list was released on Tuesday, and eight universities in India have improved their rankings this year.

Chandigarh University Gharuan is the youngest university in Asia to be featured in this list, with 185th Rank in Asia and 14th in India. It is at the 2nd position in the list of private universities of India to be featured in the list.
