5. Who will be chosen to take the IEO Level 2 Exam?

The level 2 exam will be open for students based on their performance in the level 1 exam. When selecting students for the IEO level 2 exam, the following criteria will be used:

  • Criteria 1: Students from each class must be in the top 5% of their class. The marks earned in each section of the exam will be considered.

  • Criteria 2: The top 25 rank holders in each class and zone.

  • Criteria 3: The class topper from each participating school receives 50 per cent of the available points. If registration is done sectionally, the candidates with the highest marks will be eligible for the second level exam, regardless of the section. It should be noted that a gold medalist is not always eligible for a level 2 examination.
