Godfrey Marks, a pen name for British organist and composer James Frederick Swift, wrote the song "Sailing, Sailing" in 1880 (1847–1931). As part of a medley with the "Sailor's Hornpipe," the song also appears in Disney media on "Disney's Sing-Along Songs: Under the Sea," when Ludwig Von Drake is off on a voyage to find the Little Mermaid.  It can be seen in the 1961 Goofy short Aquamania by Disney.
