FAQs on Previous Year Question Paper for CBSE Class 12 Physics - 2015

1. What are the advantages of solving previous year CBSE Class 12 Physics Papers?

Practicing previous year question papers will increase your concentration and it helps you understand how to prioritize and decide what questions to be answered first and which questions to attempt at the end. This builds confidence for the students on how to utilize the 3 hour’s time and focus completely on the exam paper.

It will give a clear idea about the exam pattern and nature of questions. Students can also understand the critical level of questions asked in the exam. Solving the previous year paper with a timer can help to pick up speed and manage time.

2. How to prepare for CBSE Class 12 Physics Board Exam?

First of all, make a note of all the formulas and practise them frequently to memorize them. Derivations play a major role in Physics. Learning the derivations of the formulas will help students solve the questions on the board exam with ease. Questions asked in the board exams will be in a deviant way.

So, to understand them, one should be completely perfect with the derivations and formulas. Focus mainly on the topics with a high weightage of marks. A sound wave, Wave optics, Modern Physics, Alternating Current, and Thermodynamics are some of the main topics to be focused on. Thermodynamics is a topic that is common in both chemistry and physics so learning it can help to ease out preparations for chemistry too. One should master every concept with frequent practice to score better in your board examination.

3. How to prepare for the CBSE Class 12 Board exam for Physics at the last minute?

Optics, Electrostatics, Magnetic effects of Current & Magnetism, Electromagnetic Induction & Altering Current, Electromagnetic Waves, Current Electricity and Electronic Devices are some of the most important and scoring topics in Physics. So, It is advisable to follow the same order. Practising derivation, definition, and formulas and having short keynotes can be useful for quick revision at the last minute.
