CBSE Class 10 Social Science exam paper carries a weightage of 20 marks from each section. The marks are distributed as 20 marks from History, 20 marks from Civics, 20 marks from Geography, and 20 from Economics. On the whole, the paper will be of 80 marks. There will be sections in the question paper and 2 map-based questions. Section A consists of 20 objective-type questions of 1 mark each (20 marks). The next section i.e., Section B consists of 8 short answer-type questions of 3 marks each (24 marks). Section C consists of 6 long answer-type questions of 5 marks each (30 marks). Additionally, 2 questions will be map-based of 2 and 4 marks respectively (6 marks).
