Hint: Here we will find the area of the leftover aluminum sheet by subtracting the area of the square shaped aluminum sheet from the area of the cut out circle.

Complete step-by-step answer:
Here the radius of the circle is 2 cm. Therefore area of the circle ${A_1} = \pi {r^2} = 3.14 \times {(2)^2} = 3.14 \times 4 = 12.56{\text{ c}}{{\text{m}}^2}$
Now, side of the aluminum sheet, $a = 6$cm
Therefore, area of the square shaped aluminum sheet,
${A_2} = {a^2} = {6^2} = 36{\text{ c}}{{\text{m}}^2}$
Hence the area of the leftover aluminum sheet
$ \Rightarrow {A_2} - {A_1} = 36 - 12.56 = 23.44{\text{ c}}{{\text{m}}^2}$

Area of leftover sheet = 23.44 $cm^2$.

Note: This is the basic question on mensuration, first we have to find the area separately and then subtract the area which is cut down to find the leftover area.
