Hint: We will first convert mL to L so that all the units in the question becomes alike and then will use unitary method to find the required solution

Complete step-by-step answer:
The volume of the container is nothing but the capacity of it.
It is given that capacity of 1 bottle is 1.5L (As 1L 500mL in litres can be written as 1.5L)
Now,
1.5L liquid requires 1 bottle
Calculation for the bottles required for 300L liquid:
 $ 1.5{\text{L liquid}} = 1{\text{ bottle}} $
 $ {\text{300L liquid}} = \dfrac{1}{{1.5}} \times {\text{300 }} $
 $ = \dfrac{{10}}{{15}} \times {\text{300 (To remove the decimal)}} $
 $ 30{\text{0}}L{\text{ liquid }} = {\text{ }}200{\text{ bottles}} $
Therefore, if the liquid is poured from a container of capacity 300 litres 200 bottles of capacity 1 L 500 ml can be filled.

Note: Always proceed when the units of such questions are like before applying the unitary method.The volume of the liquid remains the same i.e. 300L be it in any container or number of bottles
