Hint-When there is a pressure difference in the air between two regions the air will flow from the high-pressure region towards the low-pressure region. This is how a breeze is formed. When air gets heated it rises up creating a low-pressure region, then the air from the high-pressure region will flow towards this region. Using this we can explain how land breeze occurs.

Complete step by step solution:
A breeze is produced when there is a pressure difference in air between two areas. The air from the high-pressure region will flow towards the low-pressure region. This flow of air is called the breeze.

There are two types of breeze, they are sea breeze and land breeze.

A sea breeze is the breeze that is blowing from the sea towards the land. A land breeze is a breeze that blows from the land towards the sea.

We know that water has a high heat capacity. So, during daytime the land gets heated up easily but the water in the Sea will get heated up slowly. Since the land gets heated up the air near the land also gets heated up. Hence it expands and thus the density of heated air decreases so it rises upward creating a low-pressure region below. Thus, the air above the water which is at high-pressure will blow towards this low-pressure area resulting in the sea breeze. But during the night the reverse of this process happens. Just as water takes more time to get heated up it takes more time to cool down also. So, during night the land will be cold but the water will still be warm. Hence the air above the water will be hotter and it rises creating a low-pressure area above the sea. Hence, the air from the land which is now at high pressure will blow towards the sea. This is called the land breeze.

Note:Remember that sea breeze is the breeze that is blowing from the sea towards the land and land breeze is the breeze that is blowing from the land towards the sea. Both these arise due to the pressure difference between the air about the sea and the land during daytime and nighttime.
