Hint:
An Oath of Office is an affirmation or oath that a person takes before assuming the duties of an office. It is usually taken for a position in government or within certain religious bodies.

Complete step by step solution:
In India, the President administers the oath of office to the Council of Ministers. The Ministers hold office during the pleasure of the President of India.
Oath of Office is usually required by the laws of the state, religious body, or the organization before the person may actually exercise the powers of the organization. It is administered at coronation, inauguration or any other ceremony connected with taking up of the office itself. It can also be administered privately in some cases and repeated again during a public ceremony.
Some oaths of office are statements of allegiance and loyalty to a constitution or to a person or office-holder. Under some laws of a state, it may be considered high crime or treason to betray a sworn oath of office.
It can also be administered by any person appointed by the President in this regard. The Prime Minister of India is responsible for making the recommendation of names of the council of ministers to the President.

Note:
Before entering the office, the entire council of ministers takes an oath of office to undertake the duties of the office and be loyal to the Indian Constitution. These people are held responsible to the Lok Sabha for the same.
