Complete answer:
NAM is abbreviated as Non-Aligned Movement. The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) was created during the collapse of the colonial system used by the European countries and to support the independence struggles of the peoples in colonial states of Africa, Asia, Latin America and other regions of the world at the end of the cold war. The main aim of the movement is in the decolonization process, which helped several countries to attain freedom and independence. It was found by ten new sovereign States. The Movement of Non-Aligned Countries supported the preservation of world peace and security.
Let us discuss the history and formation of NAM. In 1960 , at the Bandung conference resulted in the creation of the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries. It was the Fifteenth Ordinary Session of the United Nations General Assembly. In this conference, seventeen new African and Asian countries were admitted. Several leaders of the World played a key role in the formation. The sovereign state which was responsible for the formation of the movement was Egypt, India, Ghana, Indonesia, and Yugoslavia. They were considered as founders of NAM. They decided NAM as a movement rather than an organisation to prevent Bureaucratic problems. After six years of Bandung conference, the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries was founded at the First Summit Conference of Belgrade, on September1 - 6,1961 . The Conference was attended by 25 Africo-Asian countries. It includes Afghanistan, Algeria, Yemen, Myanmar, Cambodia, Srilanka, Congo, Cuba, Cyprus, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Lebanon, Mali, Morocco, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, and Yugoslavia.

Hence, the correct answer is option (C).

Note:It is the second largest organisation other than the United Nation. It doesn’t include any super powers in the world like Russia, China, and America. They were considered a permanent audience. At present, there are countries in the NAM movement.
