Hint: -The Kakori Plot 'was a train robbery that took place during the Indian Independence Movement against the British Raj on 9 August 1925 between Kakori and near Lucknow.
- The Hindustan Republican Association arranged the robbery. With the aim of achieving independence, this organisation was founded to carry out revolutionary activities against the British Empire in India.
- The Number 8 Down Train from Shahjahanpur to Lucknow approached the town of Kakori (now in Uttar Pradesh) on 9 August 1925 when one of the revolutionaries pulled the emergency chain to stop the train and then overwhelmed the guard.

Complete answer: (i)Ram Prasad Bismil and Ashfaqullah Khan, who belonged to the HRA, which later became the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association, planned the robbery.
(ii) Ram Prasad Bismil, Ashfaqulla Khan, Rajendra Lahiri, Chandrashekhar Azad, Sachindra Bakshi, Keshab Chakravarty, Manmathnath Gupta, Mukundi Lal (Mukundi Lal Gupta), Banwari Lal, Kundan Lal, and Pranawesh Mukherjee executed the robbery plan. Accidentally, one passenger was killed.
(iii) Various crimes, including robbery and murder, were levied against Ram Prasad Bismil and some others. Due to lack of evidence, fifteen people were released and another five escaped, two of them after the trial were arrested, Ashfaqullah Khan and Sachindra Bakshi.
(iv) Bismil, Ashfaqullah, Roshan Singh and Rajendra Lahiri were hanged after Kakori's government crackdown led to the arrests of dozens, 17 of whom were imprisoned, 4 transported for life.
