Bacteria are everywhere, when you think of the word bacteria ‘ what comes to mind? you might think of harmful germs that carry disease and infection. While it is true that some bacteria can make us sick, not all bacteria. There are good bacteria also called probiotics which help to break down fats and protein in the digestive system..

There are millions of bacteria that live inside the human body. Some examples of helpful bacteria are E.coli ,streptomyces rhizobium ,lactobacillus ,bifidobacterium etc..
- Bifidobacterium bacteria occur naturally inside our body which lives in the intestine and helps to break down food and prevent issues like constipation and diarrhoea. Streptomyces used in making antibiotics and rhizobium are helpful found in soil.
- E.coli Help in the digestion of food by using up nutrients that some bacteria need to live. These bacteria also take up space in our gut, making it impossible for harmful bacteria to establish themselves and grow. And Lactobacillus acidophilus bacteria which does not occur naturally in the body but it is useful bacteria that can ferment milk into cheese, sour, creams and yoghurt.
