The atrial node is the part of the electrical conduction system which coordinates the electrical signals reaching the heart. It also coordinates the electrical impulse from the atria to the ventricles. Purkinje’s fibers are specialized conducting fibers composed of electrically excited cells composed of electrically excited cells. The nodes are made from myofibril along with mitochondria which coordinates cardiac action potentials more quickly and efficiently than any other cells in the heart.
