:Hint: In our everyday life we came across several things i.e. to meet our needs we use various kinds of material. Out of which some are given by nature whereas some are developed by humans to fulfill his needs. The basics of this material are divided into two kinds of natural material and man-made material.

Natural materials: Those materials that are found in nature and have not been made by human beings i.e. we use that material as such in our life without any change. This material is also called God gifted material because all the material that is present in nature is gifted by God to us.
Example: Sunlight, air, wood, herbs etc.
Man-made materials: The material which are given by nature are not enough to fulfill the needs so by the effort of human material are synthesized into laboratory and industries to fulfill his basic needs by the use of chemical is called man-made materials or simply. Those kinds of materials which are man-made by using chemicals in the lab are called man-made materials.
Example: Chain, table, polymer, plastics, medicines etc. are examples of man-made materials.

Here natural and man-made material but there are some materials which need modification i.e. nature gives that material to us. By the modification of that material to enhance the property of material. These modified materials are called the semi synthetic materials.
