Hint As we know that qualitative observations are used to describe the qualities of a substance or a compound, are made using the senses and it does not involve numbers. Whereas, it is found that quantitative observations basically describe the quantities of a substance, and these are made with the instruments like balances, thermometers etc.
Complete answer:
- Let us discuss about the difference in between quantitative and qualitative observations in tabular form:
Note: We can say that Qualitative observations are those that describe the occurrences or properties in different ways that do not rely on numbers. Whereas, Quantitative observations are those that consist of both a unit and a number.
