Hint: Spindle fibers are forms of proteinaceous structures that divide the cell’s material into two halves. The Spindle fibers are crucial for the cell as it divides the chromosomes into equal nuclear division. Different stages of cell division involve- meiosis and mitosis in an animal life cycle where the mother cell divides into genetically identical two daughter cells. Cellular division has functions like- they can generate cellular reproduction from only one cell, the entire unicellular organism.

Complete answer-
Cellular division is showcased in cycles where individual cells are being formed. The first step of the cycle or mitosis would be- Prophase. In prophase- the nucleus dissolves and chromosomes dissociate into the midline of the cell. During mitosis spindle fibers are present in the beginning of nuclear division.
Spindle fibers are two-wheeled, located at the end's poles. There are three types of fibers: continuous and Discontinuous fiber and Interzonal fiber. Continuous fiber runs between pole to pole and discontinuous between pole to centromeres. Interzonal is between centromeres.
Continuous fiberDiscontinuous Fiber
Continuous fiber has long ratios Discontinuous fiber has short ratios
Have good axial strength and transverse load. They are less effective in materials
Metal matrix composites.Tensile strength is 50-90%.
Strength in two directions.Cheaper in rates.
Expensive than discontinuous fibers.Faster and easier to fabricate.

Note:
Spindle fibers formation is essential for cell division but if it cannot be formed the daughter chromosomes are clumped in one area or in several areas along with one midline plate. Mitosis gets disrupted and growth of cell stops. Short spindle fibers are removed from polar ends by depolymerization.
