Hint:Biosphere reserve is the place where we can learn about sustainable development and can see the interaction between social and ecological systems for the prevention and management of biodiversity.

Complete answer:
There are a total 714 biosphere reserves present in the world out of which 18 are in India. Biosphere reserves divided into 3 zones Core, Buffer, and Manipulation zone.
Core zone: Legally protected area.
Buffer zone: Only researchers and education activities permitted.
Manipulation zone: Human activities such as cropping etc are allowed in this area.

>Option A: Biosphere reserves are rich in all kinds of flora and fauna, so it cannot be specific for plants only. Hence Option A is incorrect.
>Option B: Biosphere reserves are rich in a different kind of flora and fauna and include coastal, marine, and terrestrial ecosystems in it, for the study of sustainable development, for the prevention and management of biodiversity. So biosphere reserves are the place where all kinds of life forms are present. Hence Option B is correct.
>Option C: Microorganism can survive in places where animals and plants can not survive but the biosphere reserve contains a large number of terrestrial, coastal, and marine plants, animals, and microorganisms. So the biosphere can not be specific for microorganisms only. Hence Option C is incorrect.
>Option D: Biosphere reserves contain a very large diversity of fauna (animals) and flora (plants). Hence option D is incorrect.

Thus, the correct answer is option (B) Place reserved for all life forms.

Note:
-UNESCO has given the designation ‘Biosphere Reserve’ for the natural areas, to minimize any king of conflict between development and conservation.
