Complete answer:
Tipu Sultan, known as the dreaded 'Tiger of Mysore', was the emperor of the Kingdom of Mysore from 1782 to 1799 . He was the eldest son of Sultan Haider Ali of Mysore and his wife Fatima Fakhr-un-Nisa.
Tipu Sultan had a fondness for tigers. His fighters had outfits that looked like tiger stripes. It is said that Tipu Sultan was once hunting in the jungle with a French companion. He came face to face with a tiger. As the tiger jumped on him, he reached for the sword and murdered the tiger with it. That won him the caption 'Tiger of Mysore'.
Srirangapatnam, the island palace was so well governed with good exchange routes that the British worried about disastrous outcomes. Although there were weapons in Europe, Mysorean Missiles became prominent due to their range and lethal capacity. Hyder Ali’s Mysore rockets, certainly, were extremely progressive than what the British had seen.

Hence, the correct answer is option (B).

Note:The sovereign of Mysore had a battalion as efficient as that of the British. Out of four successive wars against the British, the first two were won by the Ruler of Mysore.
