Hint: A sentence is said to be in passive voice when the subject is acted on by the verb. The passive voice is always constructed with a conjugated form of to be plus the verb’s past participle.

Complete answer:
Active voice: A sentence in which the subject performs the verb's action is in active voice,. For example: Reta mailed the letter. Here, Reta (subject) is doing the mailing (verb). The subject does or "acts upon" the verb in such sentences, the sentences are said to be in the active voice.

Passive voice: In passive voice subject is no longer active in the sentence but it is being acted upon by the verb. For example: The letter was mailed by Reta. So, in a passive voice – The letter (subject) was being mailed (verb). The subject is being "acted upon", such sentences are said to be in the passive voice.

Here are certain rules for active and passive voice:
- The subject of the verb in the active voice becomes the object in the Passive voice sentences.
- It is a thumb rule that main verbs become the Past participle form. For eg- Helps becomes helped, feed becomes fed.
- Auxiliary verb ‘be’ (am, is are, was, were) is added before the past participle according to the tense of the verb.
- Generally ‘by’ is used before the object of the passive voice sentences.
For example:- Monkey adores bananas – active voice.
Bananas are adored by monkeys – passive voice.

The sentence given in the question is in active voice - Ranu said to him, “I have done my work” and we have to convert it into passive voice.
Passive voice is – Ranu told him that the work has been done by her.

Note: For answering such questions, where we have to convert active into passive, we have to keep in mind a few things. Use the third form or the past participle, also to use corresponding tense forms. Here, we have interchanged the position of the object and the subject and ‘has been’ is the third form of the verb because it is in the present perfect passive form.
