Hint:The existence of a charged body produces an electric field around its surrounding. When a charged body moves the electric field changes with time and change in electric field gives rise to a new phenomena named magnetic field.
Complete answer:
We know that a charge in rest creates an electric field in its surrounding region and the force exerted by this charge to another charge is given by the coulomb’s law Which is similar to the gravitational force except gravitational force is attractive in nature but coulomb’s force is both attractive and repulsive in nature.
When the charge moves the electric field of any point in the medium or space changes since the electric field of a point depends on the distance between the charge and the region. Now, this change in electric field or flow of current generates an e.m.f. Now, we know, a change in flux of magnetic field gives rise to e.m.f so vice versa this e.m.f generates a magnetic field in the region.
So, when a charged body moves with uniform speed it produces an electric field also and magnetic field. The direction of the magnetic field opposes the flow of the charge.
Note:The direction of the magnetic field opposes the flow of the charge. When charge moves with uniform speed in a circuit it is called current. The Lenz’s law gives the measure of the change in flux to the e.m.f produced in a current loop. Due to the revolution of the electron around its own axis and around the nucleus we observe magnetic materials in nature.
