Hint: We will understand the given statement by understanding all the terms which have been used in the given expression. First, we will explain the definitions of all the terms used in the expression. After that, we will see examples to see if the given statement is true or false.

Complete step by step answer:
Let us first understand the terms “dividend, divisor, quotient and remainder”.
So, the first term is “DIVIDEND”.
Dividend refers to the number which is being divided that is the number inside the division bracket is called dividend.
Divisor refers to the number which is being used to divide the dividend.
Quotient refers to the number which we obtain as the result after performing division.
Remainder refers to the number which has been left over while division.
Let us understand this by an example. We know that, if we divide 35 by 7, we have 5.
Since, 35 is completely divisible by 7, the leftover is 0.
Here, the dividend is 35, the divisor is 7, the quotient is 5 and the remainder is 0.
We also see that 35=7×5+0 is verified.
In a similar way like this, we can have as many examples as we need.
Hence, the given expression is true.

Hence, the correct option is (A).

Note:
The students must know the different terms’ meanings properly, otherwise we may end up with the wrong answer.
The students must note that this formula or expression will help them in verifying their divisions, If anytime, you feel confused or it feels like your answer may be wrong just put in the values in this expression and if LHS and RHS comes out to be equal, we get a verified solution.
The students must also know that: the division is just repeated subtraction just like how multiplication is the repeated addition.
