Hint: Both the biomass and hydroelectricity are a source of energy. There can be two types of energy. One is conventional and the other is non conventional. Conventional sources are those sources which will ultimately become extinct and are a cause of pollution. Non conventional sources are those which will not end and do not cause any pollution when used.

Biomass energy falls in the category of non renewable source and also burning of biomass produced gases which adds to the air pollution. Hydroelectricity refers to the electricity produced by using the energy of the flowing water. It is produced by building dams on rivers and water is stored behind walls and when it is allowed to fall it moves through turbines, they start moving and with the help of electric generators, electricity is produced. It is a clean source of energy as compared to biomass as it does not cause any pollution and is also a kind of renewable source of energy.
