Hint: To construct any quadrilateral we need the value of sides which is given in the question.
In this question, you have to use a compass.
With the help of a compass, you have to take the value in the compass and mark the value with it and at last, join them.
Complete answer:
Given that,
OL\[ = 7.5\]cm, GL\[ = 6\]cm, GD\[ = 6\]cm, LD\[ = 5\]cm, and OD\[ = 10\]cm
First of all, draw a line segment which is OL\[ = 7.5\]cm
Now, take O as a centre with radius \[10\] cm and draw an arc and join OD.
Now, take L as a centre with radius \[5\] cm and draw an arc, which meets the previous arc at point D and join DL.
Now, Take L as centre with radius \[6\]cm and draw an arc and join GL
Now, Take D as centre with radius \[6\]cm and draw an arc, which meets the previous arc at point G.
Hence, the required quadrilateral GOLD is:
Note:
While constructing the arc student should keep in mind that they take the value in the compass which is given in the question for the following line segment.
Students can join the arc in last also as per their requirement and step-by-step construction is required here to avoid messiness.
Before constructing the quadrilateral student must keep in mind that in the question, there will \[5\] measurements provided, and in the question, an arc should be made at the point of requirement.
Construction will be easier for the student if the student knows the use of the compass properly to avoid mistakes.
