Hint: The ruler who built the Qutub Minar belonged to the Slave dynasty of Muhammad Ghazni. The tower was built to celebrate Muslim rule in Delhi after the defeat of Delhi’s last Hindu king. This tower is the highest tower in India with five storeys and projecting balconies.

Complete answer:
The Qutub Minar is a 73 meter high tower built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibak in 1193. The construction of the Qutub Minar was started by Qitubuddin Aibak, but he only constructed the base of the structure. The construction of the tower was later done by his successor Iltutmish who constructed three more stories to the structure. The last two storeys were completed by a ruler of the Tughlaq dynasty ,Firoz Shah Tughlaq. The different architectural styles used are clearly visible from the time of Aibak to Tuglak in the Qutub Minar. Now ,let's see the options:-
Akbar - Akbar was a ruler of the Mughal dynasty not of the slave dynasty hence this is correct.
Aurangzeb- Qutub Minar was built in 1193 and Aurangzeb belonged to the sixteenth and seventeenth century hence this is incorrect.
Qutubuddin Aibak- Aibak was the ruler of the slave dynasty who constructed the Qutub Minar in 1193 hence this is the correct option.
Babur - Babur was the founder of the Mughal dynasty hence this is incorrect.

Therefore, the correct answer is option (C) Qutubuddin Aibak.

Note: Close to the mosque is one of Delhi's most curious antiques, the Iron Pillar which is famous worldwide as it does not rust.
