Hint: The Second World War began in 1939 and continued up to 1945. This war involved most of the countries in the world, thus forming two opposing military alliances-The Allies and The Axis.

Complete answer: The Second World War occurred due to the instability that was created during the First World War. The Treaty of Versailles which was created during the First World war had almost destroyed Germany. Adolf Hitler, the leader of the Nazi Party prepared Germany by rearming the country once more. Thus this set the Second World War in motion.
