Hint: Start with the first piece of information, that is calculate of which are the cakes that are going to the hotel and then find $\dfrac{2}{3}$ of 600 cakes which will go to the supermarket, then subtract the total cakes with the sum of the above 2.
Total cakes given are $600$, out of which $18\%$ goes to a hotel, so let us first calculate $18\%$ of the total cakes, which is,
Cakes going to hotel: $\dfrac{{18}}{{100}} \times 600$
Which when calculated comes out to be,
$18 \times 6 = 108$
So, $108$ cakes are sent to the hotel, out of the total, $600$.
Now, let us calculate the cakes which went to the supermarket, which is $\dfrac{2}{3}$ of the cakes, which is,
Cakes going to supermarket: \[\dfrac{2}{3} \times 600\]
Which when calculated comes out to be,
\[\dfrac{{1200}}{3} = 400\]
So, \[400\] cakes are sent to the supermarket.
Now to calculate the cakes left, we will take the total cakes which is $600$ and then subtracting the sum of cakes sent to supermarket and hotel, which is,
\[600 - \left( {400 + 108} \right) = 92\]
Answer = \[92\] cakes are left
Note: Make sure you take $\dfrac{2}{3}$ of 600 and not the remaining cakes.
