Hint: Vallabhbhai Jhaverbhai Patel is commonly known as Sardar Patel. He was born in Nadiad. He took many years to save money and at last, he became an advocate. Patel supported Gandhi’s non-cooperation movement. When Gandhi was behind the bars Patel was requested to organize satyagraha in Nagpur 1923 in Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is remembered as the person behind the unification of India after the departure of the British 1947.

Complete answer:
He supervised the establishment of more than 550 royal states into the Indian union, by preventing the splitting of a country into miniature nations. Patel asked Kasim Razvi to serve an achievable & consistent solution. Razvi was cruel & domineering during his meeting with Sardar. He wanted an independent nation for Hyderabad. In the first week of September, Patel called for a huge meeting with the Indian Army to examine ways to march troops into Hyderabad and take control as a sort of “police action”.
At the beginning of 13th September 1948, they named it “Operation Polo”, the Indian army under Major General Chaudhuri started moving into Hyderabad.
On 18th September 1948, the proper resignation ceremony was held at 4 pm in which the Hyderabad Army, supervised by Major General El-Edroos, capitulated to General Chaudhari motivating the Indian Army.
Razakars surrendered and Nizam’s Hyderabad became part of India and Hindus were released. It was Sardar who could combine India and take on 500 princely states even with Nehru as Prime minister.

Note: The Statue of Unity is a beautiful step towards shielding Sardar Patel’s legacy which is located in Vadodara near Surat. The statue of unity is regarded as the world's tallest statue. The inauguration of this statue was done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
