Hint: Before attempting this question, one should have prior knowledge about the concept of buoyant force which acts because of the pressure difference experienced by the both opposite sides of an object which is emerged in a static fluid, using this information can help you to approach the solution of the question.
Complete answer:
Before approaching the solution let’s discuss the concept of buoyant force which can be defined as force exerted by the liquid or fluid in the upward direction to oppose the weight of the object.
The reason behind the object experience a force towards the upward direction is the pressure difference which can be explained as the object moves dipper in the water the pressure experienced by the object increases, when the pressure exerted by the lower layers of the liquid from the object is greater than the pressure exerted by the upper layer of water from the object due to which buoyant force acts in upward direction on an object submerged in water.
Note:
In the above solution we discussed about the concept of buoyant force which have some applications such as when a submarine float inside the water which consist of large tank with water inside it which helps in creating weight greater than buoyant force, like ship float in surface of sea since the water displaced by the ship equal to weight of the ship.
