Hint: In this question, you have to first draw a line then choose any point on the line and draw a perpendicular line on it and on the perpendicular line, choose the point which is 4cm away from the first line and then from that point draw a line parallel to the first line. Name all the lines and the points accordingly as given in the question.

Complete step by step solution:
In order to draw the given lines, we will go step by step,
At first we will draw the line l, since its length is not mentioned so we will draw a line of any length.
Now, we take any random point P on it, and draw a perpendicular at that point,
To draw a perpendicular line, place your compass at point P and then cut arc at same length on both sides of the point then place compass at both points one by one and cut arc of same length above the point and join the points to get a perpendicular line. Now cut it at 4cm and similarly draw a perpendicular m which is parallel to l as follows

This is the required sketch.

Note: When using the compass, be careful that you are not adjusting the length of the compass when taking other arcs, all arcs should be taken with same length of compass otherwise you will not get a perpendicular line, also sometimes the compass itself gets adjusted due to pressure so take care of that too.
