HINT:-There is a difference between constructing an angle and drawing an angle.
To CONSTRUCT an angle means to use compasses and scale to make an angle.
To DRAW an angle means to use a protractor to make an angle.
Complete step-by-step solution -
For this question, first of all, we need to draw an angle ∠BAC of any measure. To draw means to make an angle ∠BAC using a protractor.
Now, we will follow the following steps:-
2. Now, taking the center as ‘A’, draw an arc with any radius which intersects ∠BAC at E and D.
3. Then, with ‘M’ as a centre and same radius, draw an arc which intersects MN at ‘S’.
4. With ‘S’ as the center and radius equal to DE, draw an arc which intersects the previous arc at T.
5. Draw a line segment joining M and T.
Now, we get another angle ∠NMO, that is equal to ∠BAC.
This is ∠NMO which is identical to the ∠BAC.
NOTE:-The student must follow all these steps.
If the student does not follow the steps mentioned above, then, he can make an error due to which the answer can come out to be wrong.
Also, the identical angle must be made using compasses.
