Hint: In astronomical physics, solar system is defined as the space in universe where the collection of many planets and their own number of sun and moons which have their own properties ranging from period of rotation of planets around their sun and phases of moon of each planets is known as solar system.

Complete answer:
Our solar system consists of one sun around which eight different planets complete their revolution on their own orbits. These eight planets are:
-Mercury which is closest to the sun and its time period of revolution around the sun is $87.97$ Earth days.
-Venus which is next to mercury and has a time period of $224.7$ days.
-Earth, the only planet in our solar system where life exists and it has a time period of $365.26$ days.
-Mars which is known as the red planet and has a time period of $1.88$ years.
-Jupiter next to Mars has a time period of $11.86$ years.
-Saturn, the only planet in our solar system having beautiful rigs around it made of dust particles having a time period of $29.46$ years.
-Uranus next to Saturn has a time period of $84.01$ years.
-Neptune is the last counted planet of our solar system having a time period of $164.79$ years.

Our planet earth has one moon (the natural satellite), Jupiter and Saturn have a maximum confirmed number of moons $53$.The galaxy is a collection of billions of stars, dust clouds, planets, sun moons and the galaxy in which our solar system lies is known as the Milky Way galaxy.

Note: It should be remembered that, the known ninth planet Pluto is not considered as a planet and not included in our solar system because of main reasons like It is very small in size, it has not cleared the surrounding of its orbit and these reasons are made by international astronomical Union.
