Subhash Chandra Bose was born in the year 1897 on the 23rd of January. He was the most famous freedom fighter who doesn’t think a second about his life to make India free from British rule. He was born and brought up in the city of Cuttack. At an early age, he cleared the Indian Civil Service exam (ICS) but he didn’t join the service because he didn’t want to serve himself for the Britishers. He was arrested by the Britishers and has been sent to jail, a large number of times because of his protests for making India free from British rule. He also became an active member of the Non-Cooperation Movement which was launched by Mahatma Gandhi. In 1938, he was appointed as the President of the Indian National Congress. The main aim of this Committee was to make policies against the British government and to fight for Indian freedom. He left India in 1941 and moved to Germany so that there he could freely plan and act accordingly to make India free. In 1943, he rebuilt the Indian National Army and made it perfect to become the strongest weapon of achieving freedom. Because of his high spirit patriotism, the command for leading the Indian Independence Movement was handed over to him.

The famous book named ‘The Indian Struggle' which portrays the period of the Indian Independence Movement from the year 1920 to 1942 was also written by him.
