Hint:
In this figure we will divide the figure in different rectangles named A, B and C. Also we will find their dimensions like length and breadth and then we will find the areas. At last we will add all the areas to get the area of the enclosed figure.

Complete step by step solution:
Given figure is
Now we will divide the figure in three different rectangles as shown in the figure below.

Now we will find the area of each rectangle one by one.
Area of rectangle A:
Area = \[length \times breadth = 1.5 \times 2 = 3c{m^2}\]
Area of rectangle B:
Area = \[length \times breadth = 3 \times 1.5 = 4.5c{m^2}\]
Area of rectangle C:
Area = \[length \times breadth = 6 \times 3 = 18c{m^2}\]
Now we will add all these areas to get the area of the enclosed figure.
Area of the figure = area of rectangle A+ area of rectangle B + area of rectangle C
\[
   \Rightarrow 3 + 4.5 + 18 \\
   \Rightarrow 25.5c{m^2} \\
 \]

So the area of the enclosed figure is \[ \Rightarrow 25.5c{m^2}\]

Note:
In this problem don’t get confused from where to start?
First the lowermost rectangle C is having breadth 3cm but how to find the length? So add the dimensions as 2+2+1+1=6cm.
Similarly for rectangle B length is 2+1=3cm and breadth is 3-1.5=1.5cm
For rectangle A both dimensions are already mentioned.
