Hint: A solution is formed when one substance is dissolved into another substance. A solution consists of a solute, which is being dissolved, and a solvent, in which the solute is dissolved.
Complete step by step answer: A solution is a type of homogeneous mixture, which means that its composition of components in it is uniform throughout the mixture. Non-aqueous solutions are the solution which does not have water as its solvent because water is called aqueous medium. If we dissolve sodium chloride in water or sugar in water, then they will be called aqueous solutions.
-Sulphur is disulphide - Here, sulphur is a solute which is dissolved in disulphide which will act as a solvent. It has the formula $C{S_2}$. Since, solvent does not involve water, so, it is an example of non-aqueous solution
-Solution of iodine in carbon tetrachloride - Here, iodine is a solute, and carbon tetrachloride is the solvent. Formula of carbon tetrachloride is $CC{l_4}$. So, it is a non-aqueous solution as it does not have water in its solvent.
-Solution of iodine in alcohol - Here, the solvent is alcohol which has the formula ${C_2}{H_5}OH$. So, it does not involve water. Hence, it is an example of a non-aqueous solution.
Hence, option (d) all of these is correct.
Note: To identify a solute, and a solvent in a solution, solute is present in a lesser amount in comparison to the solvent. In dry cleaning a non-aqueous solution is used whose solvent is dichloromethane.
