Hint:These animals have thick coats of hair on their body, from these fleeces or hair, wool is obtained and processed. There are many other animals than sheep from where wool can be obtained.

Complete answer:
The wool and silk are animal fibres as these are obtained from animals. The animals from which we get wool have thick coats of hair on their body. These hairs protect them from cold surroundings as hair traps the air and air being a poor conductor of heat provides insulation to the body of the animal. Wool is obtained from the fleece of these animals. The commonly found wool in the market is fleece of sheep. But there are more than that as yak wool which is obtained from angora goats are widely available wool in Tibet and Ladakh region, the under fur of Kashmiri goat is soft and it is woven into fine shawls called Pashmina shawls. The fur or hair present on the body of a camel is also used as wool.

Thus, the correct option is A.

Note:
The shearing of sheep involves extraction of fleece along with a thin layer of skin from the sheep. This process is carried out in the months of summer as in winter these fleece provide insulation to the body of sheep to tolerate cold surroundings. Woolen yarns are obtained from these hairs or fleece. After shearing, scouring is done which involves washing of extracted hair and skin from the sheep in order to remove unwanted substances like grease, dust and dirt. Afterwards, sorting is done where hairs with different texture or quality are sorted out from each other. After picking of burrs, again scouring is done and this corresponds to wool is ready to be drawn into fibres. This is done by straightening, combing and rolling fibres into yarn.Generally, longer fibres are used to make woolen sweaters and on the other hand, shorter fibres are spun and woven into woolen cloth casually.
